Quick Group Create Overview

Groups on BettorEdge make it easy to connect, compete, and track performance with your friends or followers. In just a few steps, you can create a private or public space where members can see each other’s bets, discuss plays, and participate in custom competitions:  all in one place.

Detailed Explanation
What Are Groups?

Groups are your home base for social betting. Within a Group, members can:

  • Track Leaderboards: See who’s hot based on ROI % or Win % over the last 7, 30, or 60 days.

  • Follow the Feed: View every member’s bets in real time — copy or fade their plays, and join the conversation with comments or reactions.

  • Stay Notified: Turn on notifications to get alerts when your friends make a bet.

  • Host Custom Competitions: Run exclusive Pick-ems, Brackets, Squares, or Flash Markets directly inside your Group.

Whether it’s your fantasy league friends, college buddies, Discord community, or podcast followers, Groups make every game a social experience.

Getting Your First Group Created

Step 1: Group Info Basics

Set up your Group’s foundation:

  • Group Name: Choose something fun and recognizable (e.g., “Sunday Sharps” or “The 19th Hole”).

  • Group Description: Tell members what your Group is about — your sports focus, tone, or competition type.

  • Group Image: Add your own branding, logo, or theme image for personality.

  • Visibility Options:

    • Private: Invite-only; perfect for friends, co-workers, or tight-knit betting communities.

    • Public: Open to all BettorEdge users to discover and join.

Step 2: Invite Your Members

After creating your Group, invite others to join:

  • Share the Invite Link directly through:

    • Discord

    • Text or Email

Encourage members to post their bets and join in discussions to keep your Group active and engaging.

Step 3: Start Competing

Once your Group is set up, take it to the next level:

  • Use Leaderboards to track who’s dominating over time.
