Account Setup
Account setup should be fast and easy to help you enjoy upcoming sports games with friends.
BettorEdge is a peer to peer betting platform. You place an order (bet) out to others in the community, if the odds match, you're locked in with a position. If others didn't like your offer, the funds go back into your wallet. Easy.
Anytime you see the BettorEdge widget, you can click into engage with upcoming games or lines. Let's dive into getting started your first time.
1. Account Setup: Click "Get Started" or "Start Now"
You can simply start the sign-up process by adding a phone number. After doing so, a text will be sent to you to confirm your number.
Once you receive the text, come back here to enter the verification number to continue:
Once phone is verified, you can begin moving around the platform using "Edge Coins" - a test or play currency that people use for followers to see their plays without using real money.
However, let's finish profile setup to get going with for real money with peers.
2. Complete Your Profile
You'll find an AI generated profile image and username. Click that to begin finishing your profile.
Finish setting up your Profile with Basic Information & Security/Verification

Update the following under Basic Information:
UserName
First Name
Last Name
Profile Picture
Password
Update the following for Security & Verification:
Email
Phone
Date of Birth
3. Complete ID Verification
ID Verification is necessary to confirm you're of legal age to continue appropriately. Luckily, it's a quick and easy process to take a selfie and ID image.
Technology will appropriately scan to confirm you're the person noted and are the appropriate age.
In order to have a higher success rate, please confirm you're in a well-lit area, your name in step 2 matches the ID used, and you ID is not expired.

4. Setup Your Wallet to Start Playing
If you signed up with a promo code, you'll find those funds available to play or test, but let's get you setup with a bank account connection to more easily add or withdraw future funds.
Click into your wallet. (you'll need to provide a security pin the first time setup for additional security - Remember this pin for later)
Click "View my Accounts"
From Account View, you can Add New Accounts through Instant Bank Transfer (fastest/easiest), ACH, Debit/Credit Card or PayPal by clicking any of the following:
Enter the amount you wish to deposit and complete the process noted to continue.
5. Begin Playing!
Now that you're all set to play, anytime you see the BettorEdge widget with information about upcoming games, just click into it, enter the desired amount and play along to win!
